Everything I do is the wrong way, the wrong time. Even if it's the right thing, it's the wrong time. She vaccuum the house every 3 days, then chew me out because I never vaccuum the house. There are so other things. Our back yard has needed landscaping for years. I asked her how she would like it to look. All I get is, 'I want it to look like it did when we moved in'. That means a crappy lawn, and bizarre trees. I am a DIY'er, and when I do a job, I do it right. This means I want to run sprinklers, power, lawn edges, walkway, etc. All she wants to do is pay some guy who hardly speaks English $ to run $50 worth of plastic pipe. I'm sorry, but we work hard enough without having to pay tons of money for crap. anyway on to the story I was starting to get curious about what was going wrong. It all started when I ordered a copy of our credit report. Lo and behold, there is a credit card on there that I didn't know about. With a $ balance on it. Up until now, I had been living a false dream, that of being debt-free. I asked her about the card. She claimed that it was for when 'she wanted to buy me birthday and Christmas gifts, so I wouldn't the charges beforehand". I asked her if there was any balance on the card. "No" was the reply. Lie #1. I asked her if she could give me the statements so that I could secure them in the safe, since I am very paranoid about identity theft. She told me she didn't know where they were at the time and would get them to me. 6 months pass, and still no time 'to find them'. In the meantime, I had found them, along with the $40 in finance charges she racks up every month. It's been 3 years, and that card is still carrying that balance. Over this time, as we look at high-dollar items we would like to get, I always ask her if there is a balance on that card, and the answer is always 'no'. Then I started noticing that any time I walked into the office, she was *just* getting off the computer. It was a lot more times than once or twice. It was every. single. time. A little too coincidental. So I bought a keylogger program. $45 and I had a record of what she was up to. fortunately for me, she is sentimental. She saved every she sent to him over the last 6 years. 6 FUCKING YEARS.
